Miss Reader

Every book is a new journey to embark on. I mainly read romances, but I dabble in other genres too.

Little House on the Prairie (Little House Series: Classic Stories #2)

Little House on the Prairie - Laura Ingalls Wilder, Garth Williams I read this book while I was in elementary school, and I remember liking it way back then, but now that I reread it, I find it kind of boring. It is still definitely interesting. I liked seeing how they lived way back then in the pioneer days, but there were some points in the book where it gets a little dull like when Wilder describes in detail how Pa builds the house. I could have done without that. The Indians versus the settlers made me cringe. "The only good Indian is a dead Indian." Wow, I don't know how I missed that when I was younger.
