Every book is a new journey to embark on. I mainly read romances, but I dabble in other genres too.
Why I picked it up: There was controversy about the book's cover so I might as well pick it up and give it a read.
Did not get the point of this book. I hated the twist that is presented in part two. In general, it seems like the author was trying hard to be compelling. The ending tries to make you think about whether Micah's story was true or not, which is pointless, because you already know that the narrator is a compulsive liar. You're already questioning her story from the get-go, and the twist for me just made it annoying. Even if Micah's story is true, it isn't a very good one. Honestly, I liked part one of the book, but in the end, it felt like a waste of time and gave me headache.
