Miss Reader

Every book is a new journey to embark on. I mainly read romances, but I dabble in other genres too.

Hidden by Blood (Sweetblood, #1.5)

Hidden by Blood - Laurie London

Source: Was a freebie from the Sony ebookstore a long time ago.

My Thoughts: There is quite a bit of info about the Sweetblood world shoved into the narration which can be annoying if you already read Bonded by Blood. But I wasn't too annoyed since it has been a year since I read Bonded by Blood, and I forgot most of the details.

The story wasn't anything special to me, but it was a nice change to have a female vampire rescue an ordinary human man. I was mainly annoyed by how it pretty much turned to sex once they were safe together at the agency's field office. That made it boring and made their relationship not seem substantial.
