Every book is a new journey to embark on. I mainly read romances, but I dabble in other genres too.
It took me a while to get into this book. It's a historical romance, but it doesn't feel like one. The setting was vague to me since there isn't a lot of historical detail goodness added in.
I thought Veronica was a fun character. It confused me though when her nickname 'Very' was used.
I enjoyed the aspect of the menage relationship growing from a m/f/m to also a m/m/f. Very interesting to see Jason and Tony fall deeper in love with each other even though they have been together and have both been in love with Kate for a long time.
Some of the sex scenes were really hot. The dirty talk especially between Tony and Jason... wowza.
Plot isn't that strong. Kate's decision making on joining Jason and Tony was sort of muddled through. Plus. it's never explained how Jason and Tony fell in love with Kate in the first place. It's pretty much stated that they are.
