Every book is a new journey to embark on. I mainly read romances, but I dabble in other genres too.
Cute movie but still bland. Amy Adams and Matthew Goode were both charming in their roles. It was hard not to like them, but even their charisma couldn't make up for the shallow storyline.
The beginning had some spark to it, but after the scene where Anna shoos away cows from the road and then accidentally causes Declan's car to roll down a hill and into a ditch, the movie loses energy and becomes dull. Anna starts to lose the urgency to meet up with her boyfriend which I thought was weird. Of course, it's likely due to her falling for Declan, but it makes the movie feel even slower than it was. At one point they attend a wedding and the reception and wait around until they could get a ride.
It's cool that this movie takes place in Ireland, but it resorts to stereotypes and cliches. It has very lazy writing.
The scenery was pretty though.
